Just posted: Our Canon EOS Digital Rebel T3 Review

For those who are looking to step up their photography game, however aren't ready to make a huge investment in a camera and gear, Canon has created the EOS Rebel T3 (aka the 1100D in the UK). This little gem is loaded with typical EOS Rebel features, many of which it shares with its big brother the EOS Rebel T3i. To help make the T3 "über" affordable, Canon has "detuned" the camera slightly when compared to the T3i, however don't let that turn you away. The T3 is still a very powerful dSLR that offers a 12-megapixel APS-C sized CMOS image sensor, Canon's DIGIC 4 processor, a fast 9-point AF system, 3fps burst mode shooting in JPEG mode, 63-zone (dual-layer) metering, 720p HD video recording, and loads of exposure options to suit the experience level of most any user. All of this is packed into a compact dSLR body that is available in four stylish colors (Black, Red, Brown, and Metallic Gray), with a MSRP of just $599 US including the kit 18-55mm IS II Canon EF-S lens.
