The MVC-FD75 is Sony's latest VGA-resolution (640x480) Mavica floppy disk camera. It is equipped with a 10x optical zoom (40-400mm 35mm equiv) lens with auto Macro that lets you go effortlessly from about one inch to infinity with full autofocus. A large 2.5- inch color LCD makes framing and reviewing your pictures a snap. The long-life InfoLITHIUM battery system gives you plenty of power to takes hundreds of shots between charges and the 3-1/2" floppy disk storage lets you easily share your photos with no special cables or software required.

The FD75 features Program Auto Exposure with six different exposure modes to help you take the best pictures even under the most difficult lighting conditions: Portrait -- sharp subject with blurred background, Beach & Snow--compensates for dark objects against light backgrounds, Sports -- faster shutter speeds to reduce blur, Landscape -- Wide-angle and large focal depth of field, Sunset & Moon -- compensates for light objects against dark backgrounds and Pan Focus for quickly going from close to distant subjects.

It also features four Picture Effects to add creativity to your pictures by changing the "look and feel" of your pictures without the need for additional software: Monochrome gives you a black & white image, Negative Art and Solarization yield very colorful effects and Sepia produces an "old time" yellow-brownish image.
