Playback Screens & Menus

Pressing the Playback button on the back of the camera takes you to playback mode. Here you can see all of the images that have been captured and are stored on the SD or MS Duo memory card. Pressing the DISP button allows you to change the amount of information that is shown on the LCD screen from nothing to a full list including a histogram.

Pushing the zoom control to the wide end takes the camera into index mode. Here you can see thumbnails of the images saved on the memory card. This is a quick and easy way to find an image on a full card.

Pressing the zoom control the other way allows you to zoom in on an image. Once you have zoomed in, you can use the 4-way controller to scroll around the image. This is a great way to check your images for focus when you are not around a computer.

Cropping allows you to trim your images on the camera without a computer. Using the zoom control and 4-way controller to get the image you want on the LCD screen, then you have the option to save a copy of this image on the memory card.

The rotate option allows you to change the orientation of an image by 90° at a time.

The WX300 gives you total control over the playback of your recorded movies. They can be watched on the camera's LCD screen or on any HDTV via an HDMI cable. DVR-like controls allow you to go frame-by-frame through your movies.
