Bottom Line
Sony continues to create powerful pocket cameras, and their Cyber-Shot DSC-TX66 is no exception. This camera is super fast, captures some awesome photos, and looks good while doing it. Its size can be difficult to handle if you have large hands, however the touch screen interface is very responsive; even if you have "fat" fingers. Read more in our Full Conclusion.
As slim as a AA battery, Sony's Cyber-shot DSC-TX66 is currently the world's thinnest point-and-shoot digicam on the market (as of 8/2012). It boasts an 18.2-megapixel CMOS sensor, a BIONZ image processor, 5x optical zoom, a gorgeous 3.3-inch OLED touch screen, Full 1080/60i HD video recording, and full resolution high speed burst shooting up to 10 frames per second (fps).

For those with an artistic flair, Sony has you covered with Photo Creativity and Picture Effects. Creativity allows more manual control over exposure settings such as brightness, color, and vividness. Picture Effects include HDR Painting, Rich-tone Monocrhome, Miniature, Toy Camera, and others. What's great about both Photo Creativity and Picture Effects is that they can, together or interdependently, be added to pictures before or after they are taken.

Sony's got a host of auto functionality as well, with software designed to capture razor sharp focus as quickly as possible, while preventing the camera from taking a photo before you smile or as you blink.
