(All screens can be displayed on the LCD or EVF)
Here is the Auto mode screen display. Minimal information is displayed and
only a few parameters such as image size or recording mode can be changed. Upper
left is the battery level that's constantly displayed. The image size is
3:2, the image folder is 101, there's space for 175 shots, a graphical
icon of the Memory Stick, in the center are the Auto Focus area target marks and and the EV adjustment on the bottom.
Easy mode makes the camera easy enough for anyone to use. Everything is controlled by the camera. The only options that you have are to turn the flash on or off, image size (large or small) and the self-timer option.
Here's the screen when using Manual mode, it allows users to select both the
shutter speed and aperture value, and displays exposure compensation to inform you
if you are about to take a under or over-exposed picture (in this case, -1.0EV underexposed). The live image is displayed
with the degree of under or over exposure that would result from current settings.
Also shown in this image are the additional display options including the histogram.

The camera's movie mode features both VGA (640x480) and QVGA (320x240) movie modes. VGA fine has a frame rate of 30fps while the standard is 17fps. The full 15x zoom is available while you are recording, which is a very nice feature that is not available on a lot of cameras.
The Movie menu is called-up by depressing the MENU button. Options include Fine (640x480 30 fps),
Standard (640x480 17 fps) or Video E-mail (320x240). The menu estimates the remaining
recording time on the installed memory Stick. The other features include Color Mode, White Balance and Steady Shot.
