Record Screens & Menus

This is the ST80's Smart shooting mode, which is fully automatic. This mode is perfect for those who just want to point-n-shoot. In this mode you are only able to change the photo size, flash mode, or enable the self-timer. This is Samsung's intelligent exposure program that automatically chooses all of your settings for you, including choosing the best scene mode for the shot being framed. This will give the average user the best results for various types of shooting, without having to deal with complicated settings.
Half pressing the shutter release brings you to the ready screen. The AF mark(s) being used will turn green if focus is achieved or
red if it fails. The camera will
display the Scene setting chosen (Macro) and the aperture (F15.9) selected. Their are also a variety of other icons shown that display the photos settings. These include the 14M quality,
OIS is on, the flash is set to Smart Auto and is charged and ready to fire (red glow), top right you can see the
battery level indicator, and that we have room on our microSD card for 426 photos.
You can also see several buttons to change the flash mode, enable the Self-timer, toggle the screen display settings, use the Motion Detection feature, enter the Wi-Fi settings, and the Menu button.
This is the shortcut menu described above. The available settings depend on what shooting mode you are in.
