Ricoh WG-20 Preview

NOTE: You might recognize this series under its former PENTAX brand name. PENTAX has decided, going forward, to focus only on interchangeable lens cameras, lenses, and sport optics. Ricoh, as a brand, has been reserved for compact cameras.
Ricoh Imaging has announced a new affordable lifeproof camera, the WG-20. Designed for families on the go, the WG-20 is waterproof down to 33 feet, shockproof from drops of up to 5 feet, cold proof down to 14 degrees Fahrenheit, and crushproof up to 220 foot-pounds. Beyond the brawny exterior, the WG-20 features a CCD image sensor capable of capturing 14-megapixel photos and 720p HD Video Recording. Speaking of Videos, the WG-20 allows in-camera editing, allows users to grab stills from video, and you can even add titles to the beginning or end of clips.
To make the WG-20 easy for beginners, Ricoh has included 25 specific Shooting Modes, which allows users to choose the perfect mode for any common lightning condition. There's even a Digital Microscope Mode, which allows the WG-20 to focus as close as 1 centimeter for extreme macro photographs.
