The Polaroid PhotoMax PDC3350 is an entry-level three-megapixel 3x zoom camera. It features 16MB of built-in memory plus a SD card slot to add additional memory. The 1.5-inch color LCD can be used for framing your shots as well as reviewing your pictures and movie clips. Exposure control is automatic with a simplified Auto mode or a Manual mode where the user can adjust parameters like ISO speed, white balance, exposure compensation and access to slower shutter speeds out to eight seconds.
In addition to still images, the PDC3350 can also record 320 x 240 resolution motion video at 15fps with audio. These movies are stored as Windows AVI type files and the length is dependant on the amount of available memory. The video capabilities of this camera can also be used for video conferencing with the included software. A full suite of image editing software is also included.
The PDC3350 can be powered by two standard AA type cells, alkaline, lithium or NiMH rechargeable type. It can also be powered by a single, one-use CR-V3 lithium type battery. Data is uploaded to the host computer via a Mass Storage compliant USB port.
