Pentax X-5 Preview

Pentax has announced a new budget-friendly, yet versatile super-zoom camera, the X-5. All for less than $300, you'll take advantage of a 16-megapixel CMOS image sensor paired with a 26x optical zoom lens, Full 1080p HD video recording, high-speed burst shooting (up to 10fps), and a host of Auto, Creative, and Shake Reduction Modes that aren't usually included in this price range.
Viewing and framing is accomplish on either a high-quality 3.0-inch tilting LCD screen, or an eye-level EVF (Electronic ViewFinder). The camera has a dSLR-like feel, thanks to and enlarged handgrip and similar control layout.
