Record Screens & Menus

Please excuse the quality of our screens, the WG-2 does not include an A/V cable with the camera.

Green mode is simplest shooting mode that Pentax features on their cameras, and possibly the easiest to use mode on the market. The only thing you can do is point, zoom and shoot. The camera will take care of everything else. Even the camera menu is limited to the setup menu, all of the shooting menus have been hidden.

Auto mode is what most people are used to, allowing the camera to choose the correct scene mode and camera settings, all you have to do is point-n-shoot. Image quality and some other settings are also available to you.

Program mode offers the most control that you will get from the WG-2. Here things like White Balance and ISO settings are also up to. Remember that this is still an automatic shooting mode and the shutter speed and aperture will still be set for you.

Here is a list of the camera's scene modes: Auto, Program, Night Scene, Handheld Night Snap, Movie, Underwater, Underwater Movie, Digital Microscope, Landscape, Flower, Portrait, Interval Shot, Interval Movie, High Speed Movie, Digital SR, Surf & Snow, Kids, Pet, Sports, Candlelight, Fireworks, Night Scene Portrait, Text, Food, Digital Wide, Digital Panorama, Frame Composite, Report
