Playback Modes & Menus
When you press the "Play" button, the last image captured is displayed full
screen. Icons indicate the Date/Time image was taken, File Name/File
Number, the shutter speed and aperture values, and the battery level icon.
Pressing the Fn (Function) button lets you record a memo to attach to an
image, protect images from deletion, use a digital filter, and set the DPOF
(Direct Print Order Format.)
You can toggle the amount of overlay information displayed by pressing the
OK button in the center of the 4-way selector. Shown above is the maximum
amount of information with the histogram.
Pressing the wide-angle zoom button on the Zoom Control brings up index
mode. This allows you to quickly search through stored images. You can
select and image by using the 4-way selector and the OK or telephoto zoom
buttons.
To magnify an image, press the telephoto zoom button on the Zoom Control.
It allows you to magnify from 1x - 4X in 5 steps. Using the 4-way selector
you can move around inside the enlarged image.
Pressing the 4-way selector down allows you to rotate an image for proper display on the LCD or a television set.
Playback menu options: Slide show - Set image play intervals (3,5,10,15,20,25 and 30 sec.)
You can explore your creative side by using on of the 7 Digital Filters.
The include Black&White, Sepia, Colors (changes color temperature), Black&
White + (Red, Green, Blue), Illustration, Slim, and Soft.
Audio memos up to 30 seconds can be recorded and attached to still images.
Shown above is the Movie playback screen. You can play the movie, pause,
fast forward or rewind with the 4-Way Selector. Movies can also be played
frame by frame. Using the Zoom Control allows you to adjust the volume.
When traveling to other countries you can choose to have their local time displayed while taking pictures
or during playback (Display time in 62 cities & 28 time zones).
