Panasonic LUMIX DMC-LZ20 Preview

Panasonic today announced the latest edition to its LZ series, the LUMIX DMC-LZ20. Designed for those who want to photograph sharp, but distant subjects while not breaking the bank, the LZ20 offers an impressive 21x optical zoom lens mated with a large 16-megapixel CCD sensor. ISO performance is nice, with a native ISO 100-1600 native range and an extended range to ISO 6400 using the camera's High Sensitivity Mode.

Panasonic's proprietary iA (Intelligent Auto) Mode combines Optical Image Stabilizer, Face Detection, Intelligent Scene Selector and Intelligent Exposure to ensure every shutterbug -- from pro to newbie -- is able to capture the best photo in any shooting conditions.
