Playback Screens & Menus

Pressing the play button on the back of the camera allows you to view all of the images that are stored on the camera's memory. The DISP button on the back of the camera lets you change the amount of information that is shown about each image, from nothing to a full-color histogram.

Pushing the zoom lever to the (W) end takes the camera to its index view. Here you will see thumbnails of the images that are stored on the memory. This makes it easy to search and find a particular image out of a large bunch. There is even a way to pick your images based on the date in which they were taken.

Pressing the zoom lever the other way (T), lets the camera zoom in on a single image. There are several magnifications, and the 4-way controller allows you to scroll around the image. This is a great way to check focus and detail when an external monitor or computer is not available.

The LX10 allows you to make smaller copies of your images right on the camera. Individual or groups of images can be re-saved in order to save space for share. The images can be saved in the M (10M) or S (5M) sizes.

Your captured movies can also be played back on the camera's LCD screen with sound coming from a small speaker, or on any HDTV/4KTV with the help of an optional HDMI cable. In both situations the movies play back smoothly while the camera offers some basic frame-by-frame controls. Keeping an HDMI cable handy is a great way to share your movies and still images anywhere you go.
