Playback Screens & Menus

Pressing the playback button on the back of the camera takes it to its playback mode. Here you can see all of the images that are saved on the SD card. Pressing the INFO button on the back of the camera changes the amount of information that is shown about each image.

If you push the zoom lever to the wide end, it will take the camera to its index view. Here you will see thumbnails of the images that stored on the SD card. This makes it quick and easy to find a single image on a full card.

Pushing the zoom lever the other way allows you to zoom in on an image. Once you have zoomed in the desired amount, you can use the 4-way controller to scroll around the image. This is a great way to check focus and detail when a computer is not available.

Playback Menu:
  • Slideshow - BGM (Off, Cosmic, Breeze, Mellow, Dreamy, Urban), Start
  • Edit - Resize, Crop, Audio, Shadow Adj, Redeye Fix, Rotate, e-Portrait

  • Protect - Protect images from deletion
  • Upload Order - Pre-select images to upload when the camera is connected to the internet via a computer
  • FlashAir - Allows the use of a FlashAir card for wireless capabilities

The edit menu gives you some basic editing features that can be done without a computer. Basic resize, crop, and rotate features adjust the overall image. Audio recording allows you to save a short audio file or note to an image. The e-Portrait, Shadow Adj, and Redeye Fix are automatic image correction tools to help your images.

All of your home movies can be played back on either the camera or on any HDTV with an optional HDMI cable. The camera gives you basic playback controls so you can watch your movies. You can also trim and capture screens from the playback edit menu.
