Along with two other new, rugged Action Cameras, Nikon has announced the KeyMission 170 this week for anyone interested in shooting wide-angle POV 4K Ultra HD videos. Think oWith a 170-degree angle-of-view f/2.8 lens and a CMOS image sensor, you can also opt to shoot Full HD Video with or without with Electronic Vibration Reduction. Time-lapse and slow motion movie functionality is built-in as is Loop recording, which saves memory card space and helps avoid missing -- here comes a pun -- KEY moments.

In addition to wide angle videos, the KeyMission 170 can dive down to 33ft under the water (131ft if you purchase the optional underwater housing), survive falls of up to 6.6ft and operated in temperatures as low as 14° F (-10° C). Unlike the dual-lens flagship model, the KeyMission 170 includes not only a rear LCD screen for shot framing and reviewing footage, but also a remote control unit which can be used to start and stop recording, or to access other features light Highlight Tagging, which " helps create a highlight reel montage of the user's favorite content."

In addition to the include remote, there's also a new Nikon SnapBridge 360/170 app for iOS and Android devices where you can remotely control the KeyMission 170 as well as transfer files wirelessly. Lastly, the included KeyMission 360/170 Utility program (for PC or Mac) adds "advanced editing" capability to your suite of tools.
