LG G2x Preview

Steve's was lucky enough to get a hands on look at a number of fantastic LG phone products that just so happen to be available right now. LG's G2x, exclusive to T-Mobile, is the carrier's first smartphone with a dual core processor and seems to be the one most likely to make shutterbugs happy. It has an 8 megapixel rear facing camera with LED flash and Auto Focus. Thanks to the CMOS sensor, it also has full HD 1080p video recording, which can be enjoyed on your HDTV thanks to the build in mini-HDMI output. If extra cables don't appeal to you, the G2x is also DLNA and WiFi capable, for music and video streaming on your home Internet network.

Speaking of streaming and playing media, the G2x supports the following codecs: MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA, MPEG4, WAV, and MIDI. In addition to support for T-Mobile's 4G, 3G, and EDGE networks, the G2x is also a world phone.

Oh, and for any gamers out there, it comes pre-loaded with Need for Speed Shift HD and a demo version of N.O.V.A.
