Konica Minolta DiMAGE Xg Review
Playback Modes & Menu Options
(Note: The Dimage Xg does not have A/V out, The following screens were
taken from the Dimage Xt, some options may be different).
Play mode screen. When you turn the Rec/Play switch to the Play position the last image
captured is displayed full screen with overlay data for file folder and number, image
resolution and quality, time and date.
Pressing the Monitor button toggles between the
full screen display, full screen w/out overlay and the index mode shown above.
The playback image can be enlarged 1.2x to 6x in 0.2x steps by pressing the
telephoto zoom button. Once an image is enlarged you can scroll around inside of it.
Movie clips can be viewed on the camera's LCD or played back on the computer. The Screen
to the left is the display denoting a movie image and upon pressing the enter button the
image plays back full screen with motion and audio on the LCD(right screen). There is
no A/V output on the Xg so it cannot be connected to a television for replay of movies
or still images.
The Play mode menu:
Delete - Erase current frame, all frames or marked frames
AudioCaption - Add an audio caption to the current image
Lock - Protect images from deletion
Slide show - Starts slide show
Playback - All frames or Selected frames
Duration - 1 to 60 sec.
Repeat - Repeat or No
DPOF set - This frame, All frames, Marked frames or Cancel
Index print - On/Off
File # Memory - Continuous File Numbering at power-down: ON / OFF
E-Mail Copy - Create a small copy image: current or marked frames
Image size - 640x480 or 160x120 (reduces image size)
You can record up to 15 seconds of audio caption that can be attached to a still image.
