Play mode screen. When you press the Play/Review button the last image
captured is displayed full screen with overlay data for file folder and number, image
resolution and quality, time and date.
Pressing the 4-way controller Down will display the thumbnail index mode shown above.
You can quickly search through your images and select one for full-screen display by
pressing the 4-way controller Up.
A full-screen image can be enlarged 1.2x to 6x in 0.2x steps by pressing the 4-way
controller Up. Once an image is enlarged you can scroll around inside of it using the
4-way directional buttons.
Movie clips can be viewed on either the camera's LCD or a computer screen,
there is no Video out capability to connect to a TV.
Upon pressing the enter button the movie plays back full screen. (Note: This screen
capture can from a different Minolta X camera, the X31 does not record or playback
audio.)
As with the record mode, the playback mode has a simple icon-based menu to access the
most used features (Lock, Delete, Email, Image pasting, Rotate or
Slide show) or press the MENU icon to get to the other options. (Note: This menu
was captured from a different Minolta X camera, the X31 menu does not include an
Audio Caption option.)
The Play mode menu:
Delete - Erase current frame, all frames or marked frames
Lock - Protect images from deletion
Copy->Favorite - Copy image to favorite's folder
Rotate - Rotate portrait mode images 90°
Image pasting - Access the Image pasting setup functions
Slide show - Starts slide show
Playback - All frames or Selected frames
Duration - 1 to 60 sec.
Repeat - Repeat or No
DPOF set - This frame, All frames, Marked frames or Cancel
Index print - On/Off
E-Mail Copy - Create a small copy image: current or marked frames
Image size - 640x480 or 160x120 (reduces image size)
Image pasting allows you to select a template (rectangular, circular, heart, speech
bubble, mouse ears) and then overlay this on top of an already captured image and insert
a new image into the first picture. The position and size of the template can be
selected before you paste the second image. The new montage is now combined in the
camera and saved as a new image.
