Playback Screens & Menus

Please excuse the quality if our screen images, Kodak does not include an A/V cable.

This is the M590's Playback screen where you can view and edit your images. Pressing the Info button will show the three icons on the left, the battery life icon, and at the top you see the total number of files captured. The three options you have here are to Select the photo, Edit the photo tags, or View all, which enters the camera into index mode. If you press the Info button again all of the information on the screen will be hidden.

Here is the Index mode described above which allows you to search through your images either 15 or 28 thumbnails at a time. This is activated by the method described in the above paragraph, or by pressing the Wide zoom control. You may also use the shortcuts at the top of the screen to select and tag your images for easier access. These include: date, people, favorites, and keywords. Once you've landed on a photo or video you want to see full screen, you simply press the Telephoto zoom control to bring it up.

Using your zoom lever to the telephoto end allows you to zoom in on any area of your image up to 8x in several steps. Once you have zoomed in on an image, you can use the 4-way pad to scroll around your images.
