Bottom Line
While not made for everyone, the Fujifilm X100S is an amazing rangefinder-type model. With unparalleled image quality and performance, this is a must have for the right group of photographers. Read more in our Full Conclusion.
Fujifilm's X100S is powerful rangefinder model, updating the X100 released in 2011. Sporting a new X-Trans CMOS II imaging sensor, EXR II processor and fantastic hybrid viewfinder; Fuji has put everything they have into this camera. With its fixed 35mm, f/2.0 Fujinon lens, this camera is definitely not for everyone, but that group of enthusiasts looking for a great rangefinder model, this is a must see.

The power of the X100S, including its new image sensor with a hybrid AF system and processor that enhances image quality and reduces noise, is guaranteed to impress. The new AF is faster and more accurate than ever before, working with a new shutter that can work as fast as 1/6000 of a second allows you to shoot faster than ever before. Eliminating the optical low pass filter on the new image sensor has also increased resolution and clarity within the image. Top all that off with an amazing hybrid viewfinder that makes the camera a pleasure to shoot with in any situation, whether you prefer an optical viewfinder or electronic. The LCD is also a good choice if that's what you prefer.
