Record Screens & Menus

Please excuse the quality of the screens, the X100 kit does not include an A/V cable, so we had to photograph the LCD for the screens below.

Without pre-set shooting modes, the Fuji X100 has just one main shooting screen. At the bottom left, you can see the "P" for program mode, but this is there since both the shutter and aperture dials are A (Auto). Changing either of these will change the shooting mode and changing both puts you into manual mode. This screen can be seen on both the LCD and the viewfinder if turned to electronic mode. There is also an information screen shown here for use with the optical view finder, much like the LCD of a dSLR.

Here is a screen from the camera's motion panorama shooting mode. This mode allows you to press the shutter release and pan the camera up to 180° while the camera captures multiple images and combines them automatically. This is one of the few "special" shooting modes offered by Fuji on the X100.

The 4-way controller allows you to access the settings for the camera's drive mode, flash, white balance and macro modes. Pressing the MENU/OK brings up the camera's menu and makes your selections. There is also a dial around the controller for easier and faster navigation.

To the left of the LCD are a few more buttons that allow you to quickly access some important settings. Here you can select your exposure mode and pick one of the 49 of the camera's focus points.
