Playback Screens & Menus

Pressing the play button on the back of the camera takes you to playback mode, where you can view all of the images that are saved on the camera's memory. Pressing the DISP button allows you to change the amount of information shown on the LCD screen, from nothing to a full list of settings including a histogram.

Pushing the zoom lever to the "W" end enters the camera into index mode, where the camera will show you thumbs of the images on the camera. This is the fastest way to search and find a single image on a full card.

Pushing the lever the other way to the "T" allows you to zoom in on any image. This is a fast and easy way to check focus and small details while on the camera. Once you have zoomed in, you can use the 4-way controller to scroll around the image. The box in the lower right shows you what portion of the image you are zoom in on. Press the Menu button to return to full screen view.

The Playback quick menu gives you fast access to the rotate, protect, favorites, list/play digest movies, smart shuffle, image search and slideshow. This saves you from looking through the main menu looking for these settings.
