Record Screens & Menus

Here you can see the new Easy exposure mode. This is a 100% automatic exposure mode. The only thing you can control is the flash, and that is because you have to manually raise it in order to use it.

AUTO mode allows anyone, regardless of expertise, to use the SX120 IS like a simple point-n-shoot camera. The camera automatically selects the shutter speed and aperture allowing you to concentrate on framing your subject, not changing camera settings.

In Program mode the camera selects both the shutter speed and aperture like Auto mode, but now you have access to all of the other camera settings that you do when shooting in Av, Tv, and M mode (see FUNCtion and Menu screens below.)

Manual mode gives you complete control over every aspect of the camera for total creative control. Tv and Av modes (not shown) are very similar, only they allow you to set either the aperture or the shutter speed and the camera adjusts the other for you.

Half-pressing the shutter release with get you an auto focus lock and the shutter speed and aperture values will be displayed.
