Playback Screens & Menus

When you press the playback button on the back of the camera, the last picture or video captured or viewed is displayed; depending on the option chosen in the playback menu shown down the page. Pressing the DISP button (down on the 4-way controller) will change the format in which you view the stored images by either showing a large thumbnail with no information, the same image with minimal exposure information, a smaller thumbnail image with extended exposure info and a histogram, or lastly a smaller image paired with a close-up of the focus points.

Index mode allows you to search and view your images as thumbnails showing 4, 9, 36 or 100 at a time when connected via the I/O cable. When not plugged in it shows 6, 12, 48 and 130 images.

The zoom feature allows you to zoom in on your images in several steps. Once you have zoomed in, you can use the 4-way controller to move around the image. The telephoto zoom lever allows you to zoom.
