Playback Screens & Menus

Pressing the playback button on the back of the camera allows you to see the images that you have captured and stored on the SD card. The DISP button allows you to change the amount information shown for the image from no information to a full list with a histogram. You can use the left and right directions on the 4-way controller or the rear control dial to scroll through stored files.

The wide end of the zoom control enters the camera into index mode, allowing you to view thumbnails of all of the images on the SD card. This makes it very easy to search for a specific image that you may be looking for. The more you press the zoom control, the more thumbnails will be displayed.

Using the zoom control to the telephoto end allows you to zoom in on a single image. Once you have zoomed in on the image, you can use the 4-way controller to scroll around to part that you would like to see. At the right you can see a zoom key that indicates which portion of the image is being displayed.

Right above the 4-way controller you will see a set of blue binoculars. This takes you to the search menu, where you can search for images by a category: Favorites, Shot Date, My Category, Sitll Image/Movie or by a stored face.

Here you can see the Print menu, which is used when connecting the camera to a PictBridge compatible printer. This allows yo to choose images or a range of images to print when the camera is connected directly to a printer.
