Pressing the play button on the back of the camera takes you to the playback mode of the camera. Here you can see all of the images that have been saved on the camera's SD card. The INFO button lets you change the amount of information about the captured images, from nothing to a full-colored histogram.

Turning the command dial on the top of the camera clockwise takes you to index view. Here you see thumbnails of the captured images, letting you quickly search through them. You can choose how many images are seen on the LCD screen at a time.

Turning the command dial counter-clockwise allows you to zoom in on a single image. Once you have zoomed in, you can use the 4-way controller to scroll around the image. This is a great way to chick the focus and fine details within an image.

Pressing the "Q" inside the 4-way controller in playback mode brings up this quick menu that lets you protect, rotate, rate, search, resize, crop, add a creative filter and process a RAW image.
