Canon's EOS Digital Rebel line remains a leader in the entry-level dSLR market, with the latest T3i model being no exception. This camera offers robust shooting options and performance, along with very pleasing image quality. While the Canon EOS Rebel T3 is for someone getting started with dSLRs, Canon's newly announced EOS Rebel T3i is rolling out as their flagship model in the Rebel series. Designed for the those seeking professional results with affordability in mind, the T3i features a 3.0-inch variable angle LCD screen with 1.04 million dot display (a first for the Rebel series). It uses the same 18-Megapixel sensor as the previous model and can shoot at full HD resolution at frame rates of 24p, 25p and 30p.

The EOS Rebel T3i can consecutive images up to 3.7 frames per second and includes the same 9-point auto focus system & 63-zone metering system as the T2i and its sibling the Rebel T3. It has an ISO range of 100 - 12,800 and now takes picture style into account for those that use that automatic shooting mode. This means the camera automatically analyzes faces, brightness, colors, movement and contrast of the entire scene to improve the picture quality. The T3i includes creative picture filters such as Toy Camera and Soft Focus and a new aspect ratio option that can take stills at 1:1, 16:9 and 4:3.
