Pressing the playback button on the back of the camera allows you to view all of the images that are saved on the camera's SD memory card. The info button on the back of the camera allows you to change the amount of information that is shown about the images, from nothing to a full list of shooting settings including a histogram.

Once in playback mode, the index button allows you to see thumbnails of the images that are saved on the memory card. There are several levels/amounts of thumbnails that can be shown, all of which make it easier to search through a full memory card.

Next to the index button is the zoom button, allowing you to zoom in on any of your captured images. Once you have zoomed in, you can use the 8-way controller to scroll around the images. This is a great way to check the focus and fine detail of your images in the field or any time a computer or HDTV/Monitor is not available.
