Canon's latest EOS dSLR model, the 7D is a professional class camera that offers photographers the versatility that the EOS brand has become legendary for, along with the latest in Canon technologies. These include a newly developed "high-sensitivity" 18-megapixel CMOS image sensor, Dual DIGIC 4 processors, a 63-zone metering sensor, and 19-point AF system with AI Servo tracking.

This model was designed with sports shooters in mind, offering blazing fast shooting performance, including burst rates as fast as 8fps at full resolution. All of these appealing features are stuffed into a tough magnesium body that offers both dust and weather resistance. With Canon's EF lens mount system, the 7D is compatible with all EF/EFS lenses, and offers a 1.6x focal magnifier with it's APS-C size imager.
