Record Screens & Menus

While shooting with the OVF, the LCD is capable of showing a variety of information; including an electronic level, focus mode and the full list of shooting settings to keep you out of the menu systems just to look at your settings.

Scene Intelligent Auto is a fully automatic shooting mode, that allows anyone to shoot with the 5D Mark IV. Here the camera will take care of all of the settings, allowing the user to just worry about composing the image. On top of the standard shooting settings, the camera will also choose an appropriate scene mode for your current shooting situation, which can further enhance the outcome of the image.

Program shooting mode is another fully automatic shooting mode that gives the photographer access to many of the shooting settings, but still takes care of the shutter and aperture settings. Here you can take control while still getting a proper exposure every time. Pressing the INFO button on the back of the camera allows you to change the amount of information that is shown about the current situation. Our screens, except for the first, all come from the camera's Live View shooting modes.

Manual shooting mode gives full control of the camera to the shooter. This allows for total creative freedom and a knowledge of (at least) basic photography.

On the back of the camera you will find the "Q"uick menu button. This button brings up a menu showing the more common exposure settings, and a few others, on the LCD screen. When this screen is up, you can use the directional pad to choose and the command dial to change these settings without going through the main camera menu.
