NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/4 S Short Review
While there are a couple of things on the NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/4 S that we wish Nikon would have done differently – like that maximum aperture of f/4, for example – there’s a lot to love about this less and very little, if any, to dislike.
This isn’t a perfect lens, but the very few flaws it has are hardly deal-breakers. On the other hands, its list of strengths is long, which you’ll only be paying a very affordable price of $999.95 for. It’s a list that includes sharp and clean image quality, ruggedness, versatility, excellent AF and a compact, lightweight design.
The NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/4 S is handy to have in most situations, and we couldn’t ask for a better value lens to have with us in situations where a single-lens setup is appropriate – whether that’s because you’re backpacking and need to travel light, or at someone’s birthday party and having multiple lenses with you is overkill.
