Playback Modes & Screens
The Playback screen displays the time and date of capture, the folder name and
filename. The icon in the middle on the left indicates that this image is marked for
Auto Transfer. A voice memo can be recorded by depressing the shutter button.
On the bottom is the image quality/size and the image # / total # of
images on the SD card or internal memory.
Press the zoom "W"ide button to enter the Index mode which
can show 4 or 9 thumbnail images per page.
Press the zoom "T"ele button to enlarge the playback image.
It can be magnified from 1.2x to 10.0x in multiple steps, once enlarged you can
scroll around inside of it using the 4-way controller. At any magnification step you
can save the cropped image by pressing the shutter button.
Playback menu has options for
Print set (DPOF) printing information, automated slideshow,
image Delete, image Protect, Auto Transfer, Small pic and Copy.
The Small Picture option creates a smaller image for email or web
use, select from 640x480, 320x240 or 160x120 size.
The Photo Trim option works in conjunction with playback zoom, allowing you to
crop out a smaller section of an image. These operations prompt you to create
a new image or overwrite the original.
Chose the D-Lighting function by pressing the OK button - it will
brighten up the background of
flash pictures or to brighten darker areas of most images. It's quick and
easy!
Up to 20 seconds of voice "memo" can be recorded and attached to still images by
pressing the shutter button while viewing the image.
Your voice-only recording can also be played back.
QuickTime movies are played back in full screen mode,
playback starts by pressing the 4-way controller's center button.
During playback, the 4-way controller's left and right buttons are used to select
the playback controls displayed at the top
of the LCD; pressing the center button performs the selected action. The bar at the bottom indicates the playback position with
the running time in seconds displayed on the right.
The Set-Up menu options:
Menus - Select text or icon style menu screens
Welcome screen - Change the image used in the power up screen
Date - Set the internal time and date
Monitor Settings - Info displayed on LCD, backlight intensity, framing grids
Date imprint - Records date, date & time, date counter onto image
Sound settings - Camera sound effects and volume
Blur warning - Turn the blur warning on/off (shaking hand icon)
Auto Off - Sleep delay time: 30s, 1m, 5m, 30m
Format card - Format SD card
Language - Menu language: German, English, French, Japanese, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, Chinese, Korean
Interface - Select the USB protocol: PTP or Mass Storage and Video Out (NTSC or PAL)
Reset all - Reset all settings to default
Battery type - Alkaline, Lithium or NiMH
Firmware version - Display the camera's internal software version
