Playback Screens & Menus
When you select Playback mode the last picture taken is displayed. You can move backward or
forward through the images using the LEFT and RIGHT buttons. The overlay information is
displayed briefly when a new image is selected.
You can quickly search through stored images using the Index playback
function which is actuated by pressing the DISP button. Nine thumbnail size
images will be displayed and you can select one using the 4-way controller's
buttons and then pressing the MENU/OK button.
You can also search through the index display by date of capture.
The image can be magnified in several steps by pressing the telephoto zoom button.
Once the image is enlarged at any step, you can move around (Pan) inside of it.
Playback MENU options:
ERASE - Single frame or All frames
IMAGE ROTATE - Rotate portrait mode images
PROTECT - Frame, Set All, Reset All
COPY - Copy your images from internal memory to your xD card or visa versa
VOICE MEMO - Record up to a 30-sec voice memo
TRIMMING - Trim (crop) the image and save as new image
SET-UP - enter the SETUP menu
The Voice Memo function allows you to record up to a 30-sec. voice memo and attach it to a
still image.
Trim (crop) the current image and save it as a new image file.
Movie clips can be played in the camera or viewed on a TV using the supplied Audio/Video cables.
Set-Up Menu:
IMAGE DISP. - 1.5, 3 seconds or Continuous FRAME NO. - Continuous or renew (file numbering) AF ILLUMINATOR - Enable or disable AF-assist lamp DIGITAL ZOOM - On or Off LCD MODE - 60fps, 30fps or Power Save LONG EXPOSURE - On or Off DATE/TIME - setting of date and time BEEP VOLUME - Volume of camera sounds, Low/High/Off SHUTTER VOLUME - Shutter sound-fx volume PLAYBACK VOLUME - Volume of movies or voice memos LCD BRIGHTNESS - LCD brightness FORMAT - Format the xD Card LANGUAGE - English/French/German AUTO POWER OFF - Off, 2 min. or 5 min. TIME DIFFERENCE - World time offset BACKGROUND COLOR - Menu screen color scheme VIDEO SYSTEM - NTSC or PAL video signal timing RESET - resets all camera settings to default.
