Playback Mode Screens & Menus

Press the REVIEW button to enter the playback mode. There is very little exposure information, just the Blur warning icon (green wavy hand symbol), image number (6), memory used (SD), the histogram display, and the batter level indicator.

Press the "i" button to display the exposure and camera information.

Using the Telephoto zoom control you can select the Magnify option to enlarge the image from 2× to 8× and then scroll around it using the 4-way selector.

Using the MULTI option from the Review menu you can display index pages of thumbnails so you can quickly search through and select an image or movie.

Movies can be displayed on the LCD or sent to your TV via the A-V cable. You can start, pause or stop playback and control the volume of the camera speaker.

Review mode menu options:

    Album - Select image folder

    Perfect Touch Tech. - Enhances your images (saves the original file)

    Action Print - create and action print (still images) of your movies

    Slide Show - Begin automated playback of all images

    Multi-Up - Display 9 images per page

    Copy - Copy to/from internal memory/flash card

    Protect - Protect or unprotect image(s) from deletion

    Image Storage - Select card or internal memory

    Setup Menu - Enter SETUP menu

The SETUP menu options:

    Return - return to the previous menu

    Liveview - Instant review after capture; On or Off

    Camera Sounds - Select sound theme and sound effects

    Sound Volume - Off, Low, Medium or High

    LCD Brightness - Power Save (default) or High Power

    Auto Power Off - 1, 3, 5, 10 minutes

    Date & Time - Set the internal clock

    Video Out - Video output format - NTSC or PAL

    Orientation Sensor - On or Off, selects auto rotation of shots taken in portrait orientation

    Red Eye Preflash - Red eye preflash mode; On or Off

    Date Stamp - Off, YYYY MM DD, MM DD YYYY, DD MM YYYY (overlay date stamp in lower right hand corner of picture)

    Video Date Display - Choose date format or Off

    Blur Warning - On or Off

    Language - Menu language - English, French, German, Spanish, Italian or Portuguese

    Format - Format internal memory or SD card

    About - Display firmware revision number
