(0.05 -- 0.7 m) in macro/wide, 9 -- 28 in. (0.22 -- 0.7 m) in macro/tele and 33 ft (10 m) -- Infinity in landscape.

The eyelevel optical viewfinder zooms in and out with the lens and shows about 82% of the captured image. There is no diopter adjustment.

The C663 has ~32MB of internal memory and a SD memory card slot, no card is supplied with the camera. Images, movies and sound recordings can be copied from internal memory to SD card or vice-versa. We recommend the purchase of at least a 256MB SD card (or 1GB if doing a lot of movies).

The C663 is powered by two AA type batteries; alkaline, NiMH or lithium. Or you can use one of the CR-V3 type lithium batteries. We recommend the use of rechargeable NiMH AA type for economy, power and the environment. However, if you use your camera infrequently or in cold temperatures, the CR-V3 type is the best choice.

It can also be powered by the optional KODAK Ni-MH Rechargeable Battery KAA2HR that is bundled with the KODAK EASYSHARE Camera and Printer Docks.
