HP PhotoSmart 850 Review

![]() Click to take a 360-degree QTVR tour of the PhotoSmart 850 The HP Photosmart 850 digital camera offers you the choice between using automatic or manual controls for ISO, exposure, white balance and aperture. The 4.1-megapixel camera produces outstanding close-ups and brilliant photos of distant objects thanks to its powerful 8x optical zoom. The color electronic viewfinder lets you frame your shots with "through the lens" ease just like an SLR camera. The 2-inch color monitor can also be used for framing or review of images stored on the removable Secure Digital memory cards. The Photosmart 850 captures still images up to 2272 x 1712 pixels in size which can be printed out to 13" x 19" on home photo printers or as large as 20" x 30" on commercial printers. Or you can directly output to compatible HP photo printers using just the USB cable. It also features HP Instant Share technology, which allows users to snap a photo and then select on the camera where the photo will go the next time the camera is connected to a computer or optional HP Photosmart 8881 digital camera dock. Audio notes up to 30 seconds in length can be added to still images and the camera also captures 320 x 240 motion video with audio at 15fps for up to 60 seconds.
