![]() The EASYSHARE V705 has two high quality Schneider-Krueznach C-VARIOGON lenses, using proprietary KODAK RETINA Dual Lens technology, the camera combines a f/2.8 ultra-wide angle lens (23 mm) and a f/3.9-f/4.4 3x optical lens (39 - 117 mm) into a very compact assembly that's less than an inch thin. The lens does not extend out of the body and is protected by a built in circular lens shutter when powered down. Auto focus is handled by a contrast detect TTL system with multi-zone and center zone options and single AF or continuous AF modes. There is a focus-assist lamp for low light auto focusing.
Normal tele: 2.0 ft (0.6 m)-infinity macro, wide: 2.0 in.-2.3 ft (5-70 cm) macro, tele: 1.0–2.3 ft (30–70 cm)
![]() The built-in speedlight can be set for auto, off, fill or digital red-eye reduction and has an approx. shooting range of:
3X , wide (ISO 200): 2.0-7.2 ft (0.6-2.2 m) 3X , tele (ISO 200): 2.0-6.6 ft. (0.6–-2.0 m)
On top are illuminated buttons for selecting Favorites, Movie, and Auto/Scene mode.
Next is the power on/off switch and the shutter release.
![]() The indoor/outdoor 2.5-inch wide view color LCD has 230,000 pixels of resolution and a viewing angle of 170 degrees. It is used as the live viewfinder with a fast frame rate of 24fps and for viewing your images and movies and accessing the menu screens. Controls on the back: Upper right is the lens controls, in playback they function as the -in and -out controls for inspecting the magnified image. The joystick controller is for navigating menus and selecting pictures. In record mode pressing it "Up" toggles the amount of information displayed on the LCD and pressing it "Down" enables the macro/infinity focus mode. You press the joystick straight in to accept menu selections.
To the left of the LCD is the Flash mode button, the Delete button, the Menu button,
the Review button and the Share button.

The V705 is powered by a proprietary KODAK Li-Ion Digital Camera Battery KLIC 7001 rated at 3.7v / 720mAh. Kodak claims the battery life at more than 150 pictures per charge. Battery life per CIPA testing method.
The battery is charged whenever the camera is placed in the included Photo Frame Dock.

jack for charging the battery when not using the Photo Frame dock.

The V705 comes with a USB/AV connector that plugs into the docking port on the bottom of the camera and a Photo Frame Dock adapter is included also..

The V705 has ~32MB of internal memory and a SD/MMC memory card slot, no card is supplied with the camera. Images, movies and sound recordings can be copied from internal memory to SD card or vice-versa. We recommend the
purchase of at least a 256MB SD card (or 1GB if doing a lot of high-res movies).

![]() The V705 is also compatible with the optional Kodak Easyshare Printer Docks, which lets you select the photo you want to print on the camera's color LCD and then press the Print button! That's all there is to it - anybody can make photo-quality prints that look and last as long as conventional film camera jumbo prints. |
