

![]() When you press the PLAY button you put the S1 Pro into Playback mode but you can instantly go back to record mode by simply tapping the shutter release button. The data display on the back will now display the four icons shown above. The buttons (left to right) activate the histogram (see last frame on this page), delete images, protect images or embed DPOF printing data.
The 4-way jog switch is used to navigate through the stored images or to
activate the playback zoom.

While viewing an image in Playback mode you can press the FUNC button and toggle
the three data screens shown here which contain the time and date and camera
exposure data for each image.

Most digital cameras have a Zoomed playback mode but none of them that I have
used can magnify the image up to 19x ! And that's in a lot of small increments.

My Nikon D1 has a histogram function too but it only displays the master channel
data, the S1's histogram is Master, Red, Green and Blue channel data.
To quickly search through the stored images the S1 Pro has the usual MULTIPLAY
(thumbnail index) mode where you can select any image desired to be displayed
fullscreen. The thumbnail mode can be set for four or nine images.
The MULTIPLAY (thumbnail) mode set for 9 images.
