
Typical eyelevel viewfinder or color LCD display when camera is in the "P"rogram AE
mode, flash is on, single drive mode, focus is locked, flash is ready, shutter speed
is 1/60, aperture is F2.8 and the Image Stabilizer is enabled.

Screen display in "M"anual mode, flash is disabled, single drive mode, focus is
locked, shutter speed is 1/13s and the shaking camera icon that you need to use a
tripod to avoid image blurring, aperture is F2.8 and the IS is enabled.

Same as the previous screen display except we are now in MF (manual focus) mode.
You press and hold the MF button and adjust the focus distance by using the omni selector.
The distance is (approximately) indicated by the vertical bar graph on the right.

This screen display shows the active metering area when the Spot Metering function is
enabled. The exposure will be calculated precisely by the area covered by the
small rectangle in the center.

These are the recording options available in any recording mode other than
AUTO, Movie or the Image Zone pre-programmed modes.
- Resolution - Large (1856x1392), Medium (1024x768), Small (640x480)
- Compression - Superfine, Fine or Normal
- File Format - JPEG or Canon RAW (uncompressed)
- ISO Speed - 50, 100, 200, 400 or Auto (between ISO 50 and 100)

- File No. Reset - Off or On
- Contrast - Weak, Normal or Strong
- Sharpness - Weak, Normal or Strong
- Saturation - Weak, Normal or Strong

- LCD Brightness - On or Off
- Shutter Volume - 5 levels
- Auto Power Down - On or Off
- Date/Time - set date and or time
- Format - format the CF card or check the amount of space remaining
- Language - set the menu language
- Video - output format NTSC or PAL
