Sony DPP-MP1

digital camera and works "hand in glove" with any of Sony's cameras that use a Memory Stick, right up to the 5-megapixel DSC-F707 .   If you thought your digital camera was impressive because you could show someone their picture on the color LCD moments after taking it -- imagine how impressed they'll be when you hand them a color print! Operation couldn't be simpler, you put your camera into playback mode, review your pictures on the LCD display and select the ones you want to print using the DPOF feature. Place the Memory Stick in the DPP-MP1 and press the DPOF button - that's it! If you want to use the printer with your computer then all you need to do is to plug it into the USB port and load the included software drivers. You can now output your pictures to it from any photo editing or graphics program just like any other photo printer. The DPP-MP1 produces true-to-life color prints that are waterproof and have about the same longevity as conventionally processed photo prints. The printer itself is very quiet as it pulls the paper in and out four times, once for each color pass and a fourth pass to apply a protective overcoat. In about two minutes out comes the finished print, dry to the touch and ready to be shared with friends and family. The DPP-MP1 printer is not only functional, it's ultra-cool. The "Wow" factor alone gets this little gem a solid two thumbs up from me !
