ELMSFORD, NY, March 20, 2003 - Fuji Photo Film U.S.A., Inc., announced that it received several photo industry awards for its products, recognizing the company's innovative digital cameras, image sensor, printers, papers and storage media recently at the 2003 Photo Marketing Association (PMA) Annual International Convention and Trade Show. Recognizing products for technical achievement and design, the awards were given out at PMA, the photography industry's largest annual event.

Competing against hundreds of products in two competitions, Fujifilm took home 10 awards, including the 2003 Digital Imaging Marketing Association (DIMA) Innovative Digital Product Award for the company's new Super CCD SR image sensor and FinePix F700 digital camera as well as the 2003 DigitalFocus Award for its xD-Picture Card. The 2003 Innovative Digital Product Award winners were selected by digital imaging editors and writers and were based upon how the products utilize new technologies and/or applications to make the product either unique or the first of its kind. The annual award is one of several events sponsored by the Digital Imaging Marketing Association, a section of PMA. The 7th Annual DIMA Digital Camera Shoot-Out took place on March 1 when 24 participating camera manufacturers captured images in two live-model studios. Winners of the 2003 DIMA Digital Printer Shoot-Out were chosen from 138 prints from 27 companies. PMA trade show attendees voted upon the entries based on overall quality of the digital print and the accuracy of the color as compared to the "target" print.

The DigitalFocus Awards annually honor the top digital imaging products in 15 different categories. This year's awards, formerly known as the Excellence in Imaging Awards, were once again sponsored by Pepcom Inc. and its DigitalFocus showcase series. The awards were presented at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas on March 1, the evening before the PMA trade show opened.
