Concord 5062AF

LAS VEGAS, NV - February 12, 2004 - Concord Camera Corp. ("Concord") (Nasdaq:LENS), a leader in high-quality low-priced digital cameras, today announced at Photo Marketing Association (PMA) the new Concord Eye-Q 5062 AF and Concord Eye-Q 4062 AF digital cameras for under . Priced with an SRP of .99 and .99 respectively, the cameras are high-quality 5 and 4 megapixel digital cameras with automatic features for effortless picture taking along with more advanced features that consumers will appreciate as their familiarity with digital photography increases, such as spot metering, multi-area auto focus, sepia mode, macro mode, ISO select, white balance, continuous shooting, video clips with audio, and exposure compensation. These features are remarkable to find in such affordably priced digital cameras.

Whether placed in a shirt pocket or hanging by their straps, the Concord Eye-Q 5062 AF and Concord Eye-Q 4062 AF digital cameras will be the center of attention with their compact sizes and stylish designs with a black high-tech body for the 5 Megapixel and a sleek platinum silver finish for the 4 Megapixel. Beneath the eye-catching exteriors are advanced optics of an all glass 10.00mm, f/3.0-f/6.0, 5-element lens (48mm 35mm format equivalency) with auto focus from .6m to infinity and macro focusing from 15cm. In addition to the standard spot metering, these cameras offer advanced user selectable exposure control functionality. In this mode the camera processes an increased amount of scene data from a matrix of values taken across the scene to produce a more accurate result.

Both cameras offer multi-area auto focus for more precise focus calculation and setting. The cameras feature two options: center focus, which finds the most contrasted area to insure that the camera is focused on the true subject; and three-area focus, where the camera determines the optimum focus of the picture by looking at three different areas of the scene to be shot. The cameras also have an auto focus assist light, which beams a red light to lock in the focus if the ambient light is too dim.

Capturing AVI video at 30 frames per second and with audio, both cameras outshine other digital cameras on the market that offer just 15-16 frames per second. At 30 frames per second, mini-movies will look more real and exciting. Video length is determined by the capacity of the SD card and can then be replayed on a TV for the whole family to see with the included video out cable.

The Concord Eye-Q 5062 AF offers a unique feature combination of a high resolution 5 Megapixel CCD sensor with a 6x digital zoom. The user can select among 6 image resolution choices (VGA, 1.2, 2, 3.1, 4, and 5 MP), depending on how the image will be used such as printing or emailing. The camera features a large 1.8 inch LCD, auto flash and 5 user selectable flash modes, along with 7 preset scene modes for perfect exposure for beach/snow, party/indoor, sunset, night landscape, night portrait, fireworks and sports. Just select the situation and shoot, and the camera will select the perfect exposure/shutter speed and flash for your scene. The Concord Eye-Q 4062 AF offers many of the same exciting features as the 5062 AF but with a 4 Megapixel CCD sensor and 1.5 inch LCD.
