Excuse all the boats, birds and water, I live in Florida. The picture of the sailboat and the monument are "Hi" mode uncompressed TIF (5.6MB) images straight out of the Coolpix950!   The monument is also available as a compressed JPG for those without a high-speed modem. NOTE: Some images were originally shot in TIF mode and have been converted to JPG - hence no camera info will appear in the EXIF headers.  I personally guarantee that ALL images on this page came from the Nikon Coolpix 950 camera.

The last image pushes the 950's capabilities to the max.   It was shot at f/11 using an 8-second exposure, white balance set to incandescent (small room light about 15 feet away) and ISO boosted to 320. CCD noise is apparent. Note this is a prototype (non-production) camera so judge accordingly.
