Wedding and Portrait Photographers Conference Schedule Announced

If you shoot portraits or weddings, you're probably already aware of the Wedding & Portrait Photographers International convention. If you're not, it's something you might want to check out.

The WPPI is a yearly show taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada that provides photographers with a place to meet, network, learn and even see some celebrities. "This year," says WPPI's executive VP George Varankis, "the special events offered to our attendees are sure to keep everyone energized even after a long day of sessions and trade show."

It all starts off with the Launch Pad, which gives you a chance to see the latest and greatest products, then it's off to the Sony Fashion Show hosted by 'America's Next Top Model' judge and photographer Nigel Barker.

Canon is throwing a Mardi Gras party with the promise of food and fun. The next day there's a panel featuring some of the top women in photography. On the final night Kevin Kubota will host a series of talks called Photographers Ignite, where 18 professionals will take the stage and share their own unique ideas and techniques.
