WD Photos Released for iPhone and iPad

If you're one of those folks using a handheld Apple device as well as a Western Digital network drive, you're in luck. The new WD Photo app makes the two pieces of tech play together incredibly well.

The app is free to download now and allows for simple remote access of photos on any My Book World Edition, My Book Live, and WD Share Space drive. The images will be displayed in the native resolution of your phone or tablet and can be accessed anywhere you've got internet access.

WD Photos gives you full screen iPad support at a resolution of 1024x768, slideshow transitions and the option of a horizontal split view. It also offers you the ability to access up to 285,000 photos, which should be more than enough to satisfy any user.
