Vivitar Introduces ViviCam 2750 Digital Camera With CompactFlash Card Slot
SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 11, 1999-- SanDisk Corporation (NASDAQ:SNDK - news) announced today that Vivitar, one of the nation's largest camera manufacturers, has introduced the ViviCam 2750, a new affordable digital camera, which has a specific slot for CompactFlash? (CF?) memory cards invented by SanDisk. The new camera was introduced last week at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, NV.
A special SanDisk discount coupon for SanDisk CompactFlash memory cards and ImageMate external CF drive will be included with each ViviCam 2750 sold. The new ViviCam 2750 is a VGA 640 x 480 resolution digital camera with LCD display and optical viewfinder. The new camera includes a fully featured control panel, 2MB (megabyte) internal memory and video outputs for VCR taping of images or playback on television sets.
