Venus Optics Announces Pricing & Availability for Laowa 17mm f/4 GFX Zero-D Lens

Venus Optics has launched pre-orders for its upcoming Laowa 17mm f/4 Zero-D Lens for Fujifilm GFX cameras. The lens is set to start shipping in mid August for $1,199.

Geared toward landscape, architecture, interior, and astrophotography, the Laowa 17mm f/4 Zero-D lens features a 113° angle of view and is now poised to become the widest native lens available for Fujifilm G mount mirrorless cameras. The unit's optical design consists of 21 elements in 14 groups for minimal optical distortion. Likewise, the device uses a a 5-blade straight aperture system for 10-point sunstar rendering. In addition, the lens includes a 86mm front filter thread, allowing users to attach screw-on filters.
