Ulead Systems' Imaging Software Bundled with New HP PhotoSmart Scanner And Digital Cameras

TORRANCE, Calif., Aug. 31 - Ulead Systems today announced that it has signed an OEM deal with Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE: HWP - news). HP will bundle special versions of three Ulead imaging software products with its new HP PhotoSmart C500 and C200 digital cameras and with the recently announced HP PhotoSmart S20 photo scanner.

HP will offer PhotoSmart digital-photography customers three software products from Ulead: the award-winning Ulead PhotoImpact, Ulead's flagship image editing software; Ulead COOL 360, Ulead's new immersive imaging software for creating 360 degree panoramic photos; and Photo Explorer, an intuitive tool for visual file browsing, HTML thumbnail output and slide show creation.

PhotoImpact 4.2 is Ulead's award-winning image editing solution for on or off the Web, ideal for the Web graphics community, business communicators and photographers alike. Ulead COOL 360 1.0 features a unique 3-step workflow and helpful wizard guide to help users quickly and easily transform a series of photos into 360 degree or wide-angle panoramas. Ulead Photo Explorer 4.2 is a Web-enabled thumbnail browsing tool that lets users see every image and video file as a visual thumbnail, delivering the power and flexibility to begin using images immediately.
