Toshiba Announces Three 1080p Camcorders Starting at $99

Toshiba-CES.jpgToshiba's new Camileo camcorders pack a lot of punch for a low price. Each is made for a specific purpose, offering something that the others don't.

The least expensive of the three is the Camileo Clip, a $99 camcorder made for people that need something a little more rugged. It's shock proof and splash resistant and has a built-in clip that allows you to attach it to your belt or clothing for hands-free recording.

If social media is your thing, you'll want to take a look at the AIR10. Like the rest of Toshiba's Camileo lineup, the AIR10 records at 1080p, but what sets it apart is the ability to upload directly to YouTube, Facebook and more via Wi-Fi. You can even use it as a webcam or a camera for live streaming. You'll be able to pick it up for $149.

Shooting in 2D isn't enough? Well never fear, the Z100 3D takes you into that third dimension. You'll also find a 2.8" touchscreen that handles both 2D and 3D content and an HDMI port so you can plug right in to your 3D TV.

All of these Camileo camcorders will be shipping in the first half of the year.
