The Sunday Times No Longer Accepting Photos from Syria - Shooting There is Too Dangerous

You've probably seen and heard accounts
of what war photographers go through when they're on the ground along
with soldiers and civilians from both sides. It's important, even
essential, to capture images of what's happening. It's risky though,
and poses a great deal of danger. To The Sunday Times, that danger
isn't worth it.
Freelance photographer Rick Findler
submitted his shots of the Syrian conflict to The Sunday Times but
was turned down, on the grounds that the paper doesn't want to
encourage photographers to take such great risks.
